Gran Turismo: The Real Driving Simulator

Lately alot of talk has been about the game that makes you feel like your really driving, I'm talking about Gran Turismo. There are good reviews and bad. Heres mine.

The Story:
You're just racing tracks to become national champion.

The Good:
Stellar Graphics/Alot of cars/alot of tracks/awards/achievements

The Bad:
No customizing your cars in any real noticeable way/online play is horrible/it's to.....real/you have to wait per day for a random auto dealer to buy from

Starting off with the good:
The Graphics are some of the best (the best probably being Final Fantasy Crisis Core) I've ever witnessed for a handheld you can tell they put alot of time behind they're graphics computers just working out tiny details

The Cars are all there, from Audi to VW, from Ford to Honda, so your favorite car is almost definately waiting for you.

They're is a LOT of tracks a LOT of awards (in the game) and a LOT of trophys (for the game) there is also some pretty good downloadable content from PSN.

And Now for the Inevitable Bad:
The Customization just isn't there, in games like need for speed you can put graphics on your car, body kits,wings...the works but on here your stuck to that car and having a nice flat color on it....it takes away from the personalization on alot of things.

The Online play is laggy and is lacking any real fun or competition.

The Realness can be frustrating it can be to real, what I mean is sometimes when you have to go slow it just doesn't feel like a race....it feels like a drive to Wal-Mart.

Some of the features correspond with time/days and you only get to buy from one or two car dealers per day so if you just saved up enough for that porsche 911 or that Lotus Elite you'll more than likely end up with a honda civic.

The Summary:
Gran Turismo is a good game for what it is, a real simulator, but alot of people actually want to have fun, not driving lessons and I think thats where this game lacks, I'd rather take a drive on the track than take a drive to the mall.
